Clothing Pieces
Clothing by Kay George are all hand painted or printed on 100% cotton and linen
at the Art Studio in Arorangi, Rarotonga. With the heat and the humidity experienced
living in the pacific the cotton fabrics are by far the coolest to wear. Garments
are usually made to order with a few on display in the gallery. Most garments
are one offs and once the customer has been measured it usually takes 2 weeks
before they are sent to the overseas customer. There are many prints and colors
to choose from and Kay is always on hand to talk through designs and colors
to suit. For our overseas customers orders can be taken via email. All fabrics
are color fast and the customer is advised on washing instructions.
